Hobbies

I love reading, travelling, spending time with friends and family, blogging and freelance writing, cooking, and retail therapy. I enjoy most spending time with my fiancé Ken who is a paramedic and our two dogs Kali & Bella. I have a fun, laid back and encouraging style of teaching and enjoy working with students and their families to help make them successful :) I believe if children are having fun while they're learning, their love for that subject grows. I also believe that children need to be able to learn according to their own style whether it's as a manual learner or a lecture type learner. Some just need things broken down or repeated a few times. Every child is different and it's always a challenge finding out what makes them "tick" but once you do, it's like opening up a whole new world to them.
